THIS Is How Well Z-Health Works.

Finally, Videos of the Meet.

Here's 120kg Snatch.

Here's 140kg Clean and Jerk.

Sorry about the poor quality. I'm not a techno-kinda-guy so the fact I'm posting this is tech-ie enough. Betsy actually filmed the DVD while it played. Not perfect by any means, but certainly good enough for the point to be made.

Geoff,
Thank for posting the video clips. I've been wanting to watch them again. I know I've watched both at least 5 times in 10 minutes. I'm working my mirror neurons at the moment. ;-)

Would you share your thoughts on what areas you would improve on from these clips specifically?

Keep up the great work!

Katie

Hey Geoff,
Nice snatch...that power jerk was was eeeeasy...another 10-15kg in the tank for sure. (Have you always been a power jerker or did you use to split?)

Thank you, All!

Katie, the most glaring errors to me are head position--should be more neutral. Also, on the clean, the elbows bent too soon--should be straight on the 2nd pull--decreases power by almost 30%! And finally, I just didn't have enough time to put everything together in training. I showed up with what I had, feeling confident that at least I could do something.

Randy, never could get the split--right knee stability was always an issue in either position, fore or aft. Would've been nice to see the 150kg jerk, but I missed the clean--just played it safe this particular meet. Plus, Z keeps the speed up but I hadn't done any real leg work for the clean, just movement practice.

Excellent work Geoff! Very relaxed, smooth and you made it look stupid easy!
You called the head position yourself and I would agree.
Watching it makes me want to run out and try Oly lifting again.
Nice job!!
